Mary Ellen Breen:
Here at school we have a new reading policy of 20 minutes a night. So, get a good book and read. If parents will sign a note once a week indicating that students have read, the reading will be worth points at the end of the third quarter. Please make sure you check Infinite Campus often. I try to keep it right up to date. Chapter 3 quiz is due Friday the 12th and the "envelope" assignment is due Friday.

Due Dates: Rough Draft- Friday 3/5, Final Draft- Friday 3/12.
This weekend think about a "hook" statement or question and decide how the information in your report will be organized.

Mr. Rice/Miss Mclean:
ONGOING SOCIAL STUDIES ASSIGNMENT: Bring in as many "Seed Beads" as you can. These are the smallest of any beads you could find and there's no such thing as too many. You can find them at craft stores, dollars stores and department stores. I bought some packages with over 3000 beads in each for $1 each. They're for an ongoing project you'll become more aware of as we go on through the year. We need to start collecting now, though!

Segregation Mini-Project due Friday the 12th for 100pts.

NOTE: All Constitution unit work is due before the final assessment (date pending). No work for the unit will be accepted after the final assessment is complete.

Thanks to all of those who have brought in "seed beads" so far. We still need lots and lots more!
