Family & Consumer Sciences - Seventh & Eighth Grade Program..
Family & Consumer Sciences is a required part of the rotation for all seventh and eighth grade students. Instruction, primarily through hands-on activities, is designed to prepare students to meet their responsibilities and understand their opportunities as members of families, consumers, home managers and wage earners. The broad objectives of the course are to develop skills that lead to effective decision-making, problem solving, and management in the home, community and workplace. Students will develop the basic skills needed for home and family responsibilities and the personal skills that enhance employment potential.
Class is for one quarter.
