Handbook Late Work / Missing Tests ..

If a student is absent, it is the responsibility of the student to make arrangements with the individual teachers to make up work within the guidelines of this handbook. Students who are absent from school must complete all homework assignments within 48 hours of returning to school. If extenuating circumstances exist, such as prolonged illness, a written plan agreed to by the teacher must be accepted by both parties within forty-eight hours; guidance counselors can be helpful in working with teachers and students to establish a workable plan. Parents are encouraged to call the guidance office to get work for students who are absent for more than one day; Parents may also use email to communicate with teachers regarding homework.
